Superbowl parties were a tradition with a group of my college classmates for about twenty years. There was a lot of poker/partying/football and stories we keep from the children.

This piece of sculpture was made from a bottle involved in one of those stories. Good party, good friends, good tequila, bad boys!

The composition of this sculpture is an interpretation of the aftermath! If you look at the top spinning piece you see the direction it is spun, yet it seems to change direction and spin back again. A bit of a metaphor I think.

The wild Superbowl parties stopped when the wives thought we were not the best role models for the children (even though we had big houses and man caves). The studio was a perfect space for the parties so it is only logical there would be some Superbowl art sooner or later.

We still get together all these years later. Just older, smarter and balder! The wives are happy, and the kids are part of the parties now.
