Year 7 of Holiday Gift Art: Spinning Tree
The year of the spinning tree was when I was balancing metal “s” shapes in to pieces that swing and spin. Some of them stand some of them hang.
The tree is simply three painted metal triangles bent and balanced. This is one of my personal favorites.

Ours is on a low table this year, one that I pass frequently. I generally blow it until it twirls. The paint job is terrific — decorations on both sides of all pieces. I say each one is my favorite, but this is in the top-top favorite class.
