Dancing Stick Sculpture #82715

Caught these two dancing around the studio.

What does this sculpture think its doing?

Its studio is a mess.

They should be cleaning not dancing.

I told them they were artwork and that means work is part of their description. “ART WORK” I said.

They just kept on dancing pretending not to hear me.

So I turned off their music.

They didn’t seem to care. They just kept on dancing!

Just as I was about to give them a lecture the little buggers reminded me that they were going to keep on dancing no matter what I said.

That is how they are, what they do, how they grew and what was done to them.

I thanked them for setting my perspective straight and turned the music back on!

That sculpture danced on and smiled at me as I continued to mess up the studio making art.

Past: Tolerated the U.S. educational system as far as a Bachelors degree. Favorite sports were skateboarding, windsurfing and pole vaulting. Worked on many jobs and projects, giving me a wide variety of skills and experiences.

Present: People call me a renaissance man. I still enjoy variety and being productive. Probably why artwork is one of my lasting activities. Snowboarding and hiking are my favorite ways to recreate with my amazing wife and sons.

  1. Art WORK. I laughed. Didn’t their creator shape them to dance? They seem more lighthearted than headstrong. Come to think of it, their heads are larger than many of the stick people. Do they have swelled heads?
